I lost 1.4 lbs last week!! Woohoo! I am 1.2 lbs from being 10lbs down and 1/3 of the way through with my goal. It almost seems impossible, but I am doing it and I am very excited. So much closer to the 160's which I haven't been since graduating high school. YEAH ME!

Dinner - 3 baby back ribs - 300 calories, some chicken 100 calories, a cookie 100 calories, 7 chips with dip, 200 calories, let's toss in another 200 because I feel like this is low - (1860 Total Calories)

BUT I am not impressed enough, I could have done much better! Once again I will be saying next Monday "Maybe this week I can not cheat". urgh!

Overwhelming Energy
I don't know if this is temporary or what but it seems like every time I lose about 10 lbs I get a new level of energy added to my body. I can remember being 250 lbs and being so drained, tired and not wanting to move most of the time. Now I am 175 (as of this morning) and I have so much more energy. Just in the last 50 days (yeah day 50) I have gained a new level of energy. I can't wait to see what I will be able to accomplish at 150 lbs. I will be unstoppable. Maybe this is why my mom does so much, she is so skinny and has no fat to weigh her down. I can't wait to get rid of my extra weight and live my life to the fullest!

It's ok that I went over by 400 calories....BECAUSE I did a lot of exercising activities.
Mowing/watering grass for 45 minutes - 300 calories burned
Cleaning house 3 hours - 600 calories burned
KICKING myself for spending 2 1/2 hours putting in a thermostat, and breaking the AC, and then having Phillip come over and save my day!!! probably about 200 more calories :)
All in all I think I did good considering the activities I did tonight. I just sat down for the first time since parking my car at 4pm...I am exhausted!

To my dismay ate about 2000 (that's my maintain intake number). C'mon Amber!! I had a veggie burger for lunch hand just threw out a number assuming it was way more calories than I thought it was. And joined Caleb for a vanilla wafer and milk snack before bad. For shame. No more of this behavior this week; I really am going to try hard!!
Maybe if I shoot for a lower number, then if I go over it is fine because I still met the goal.

I weighed 176 today, down 1 more lb. I am steadily losing 1 lb per week which seems small, but when I look at the bigger picture 1 lb is more than 0 and eventually I will be at my goal weight.

We ate responsibly. Breakfast a few hundred each day, lunch 400 +-, dinner we ate light. snacked and cerealed away the leftover calories. Pooped too much, went to church, talked about what to do to kitchen in new house, exercised and biked Saturday, rested Sunday from being too "pooped". today taking Bud to vet, then the new house for Olshan foundation inspection. Today we decide to sign on dotted line for sure. Feeling stronger and eating well habitually. Take care.

Lunch - Olive Garden Salad 250, 1 breadstick 150, parmesean crusted tilapia 200, veggies 20
I order the parmesean Crusted tilapia with extra veggies instead of pasta and the butter sauce on the side instead of all over the veggies and fish. This way I can only use a teenie bit of it and save myself about 400 calories without butter and pasta! It is very good and filling too :)
Dinner - 1/2 rice krispy treat - 40, Gringo's Guac & chips 340, Shrimp Salad 300
TOTAL = 1300
Let's hope I lose at least one more lb tomorrow....I really need to step it up and not cheat this week so that I can lose 2-3 lbs next week :)

I thought they would have salad or chicken burger, but they did not...so I had a burger and some fries, but it was pretty good and I left off mayo. I didn't eat too many fries anyways. Not to bad!
We went to this ghost town in Manor, TX today and I thought for sure I was going to go over on my calories, but I did surprisingly great. YEAH BROOKE!
Now I have lost my voice, which is really hard when you had little kids to yell at all day long :) At least Lee will enjoy some quiet time for a day or two.

Landed around 1900 today with plenty of veggies and fruits...but realized late in the evening I forgot I've been trying to drink 8 glasses of water...so maybe didn't make that goal today.
Did Body Pump today. 2nd time this week....looks like more goal of getting body pump in twice a week is coming earlier than next month...seems like I might be able to make that the goal for the rest of May! And I've had my 3 swim cardios this week, too. Great.

Today was HORRIBLE!!!! I at Chicfile because lunch at my meeting was catered, and only 1 brownie. PRO!!!! I was so proud of myself! But then I got caught nibbling on things all day long and indulged in 1.25 cupcakes....still WAY less than I would have eaten 44 days ago. Nonetheless, i probably landed today around 2500 calories. I was so sad about this and giulted that I decided to go to the pool and workout the best I could, even though it was 10 pm. So here I sit, about to go to bed, the shakes of some sprints making me a little weak. Even with the workout I still did bad. Gotta try harder!! But I am glad I worked off some of the crap I ate today.

Eating less sucks for about 2 weeks, but it sure is easy now. My stomach hurts so bad when I eat too much like I did last night. Yea for a shrunken stomach!
Day 42 & 43 - AMber
Don't know what stopped me from posting. It's like I just forgot!
Day 42: (Tuesday) I was attempting to eat more calories...but I've noticed it's harder to eat "more" when you're eating the right things, and since having come up from 1500. I did Body Pump that day, so lots of weights, so was trying to feed my muscles a bit more. I landed at 1908. FINALLY doing better at getting all my veggies and fruits and water.
Day 43: Swam, but it was cut short because you're not allowed to swim during the aeroboics class. Ate about 1827 and was able to get a little rum and coke in there! Realized that what the restaurant gives is really too much for me. I don't drink alcohol much so an ounce or 2 of each is plenty. HA! I'm kinda wondering about my fat intake. Since starting body Pump I really don't feel like I'm "slimming" down much....which of course I'm building muscle so maybe I'm obviously not "slimming" myself. But i sure would like to fit in my jeans.
Unfortunately, I know building up muscle to protect my joints...mainly my knees will ensure that in the future I CAN adequately exercise well.
So....in essence, lifting weights now, is the prerequisite for ability in the future, and also part of the on-going lifestyle change all together.
So...I guess once again I run smack dab into the face of patience. Patience is the Key...and honestly, I'm not going to see the past 2.5 years of of laziness, stress, and plain ignoring melt away from my body in a mere 6 weeks.
I gotta keep going, because it's a lifestyle change. My overall health is just as important, if not more, honestly, than my mere "physique." Gotta keep going.

Still here, just pre-occupied. Staying on my dietary restrictions, and exercising daily with bike machine and stretching. Added weights to the exercise routines. Feeling stronger. Not sure of weight but scales have not been good to me. I have no control over that. I plan on keeping up with diet and exercise which I can control. poached aggs and dry toast usually, followed by fruit and cheese, a salad, or gumbo, then a fish, chicken or shrimp dinner with 2 veggies, no carbs, Usually 2 or 3 100 cal snacks throughout the day. Cereal if I have calories left over at night. Just so many hours per day on the computer, and most of which I am spending on the new house plans. I probably won't be posting every day, maybe once a week for a while.

Just a note of thanks
I just wanted to say thank you to those out there who post everyday and make sure everything is kept up - thanks - especially one from who has missed quite often.
Day 42 - Paula - Chocolate sounds gooooood
So it started like a regular day - then the craving began - chocolate, chocolate, chocolate...
But we began with the usual granola bar (190), corn cakes (60), chex (25), tangelo (50), soup (120), banana (100), then dinner chick-fil-a grilled southwestern salad (380) and 1/2 of the fabulous brownie (185) for a total of 1110. Rock on.

Day 41 - Paula - Thanks for the phone bombs
Yes the guilt and shame hit in the form of two txts (thanks AK and Brooke) - so I am posting again.
Granola bar (190), apple sauce (100), chex (100), tuna sandwich (250), banana (100) and walnuts (200) and some mac and cheese (maybe 250 - 300) for a grand total of 1200 - 1250.

Don't know what's up with my energy. I was really prepared to kick but today in the pool but was so tired feeling. I'm sick too so I'm sure that doesn't help. I did the best I could. But it was weak sauce.
Calories 1936. Plenty of protein. Only about 3 or so serving of veggies. Plenty of fruit. Probably could have done better on water. Got groceries today, so I think the rest of the week will be better on my veggies :-)

I have lost a total of 6.4 lbs in 40 days. I am averaging 1 lb a week right now, this would put me at my goal weight by Nov 15 and if I can throw in a few 2 lb week I could be at my goal weight of 150lbs by my birthday! That is what I am going to shoot for.

I also went for a 1 hour walk with Becca at the park, about 3 1/2 miles. It was so nice outside, hot and I was all sweaty and I loved it. I even got a little color added to my pale skin. I should have been lower than I was so I am guessing the water I drank yesterday is still sitting on me. hmph! I think this is why I hate working out to lose weight, the muscle gain, water gain, etc just discourages me. Oh well, it was fun!

Day 40 - Amber
Much better day. I think I landed at 1845. But I might have underestimated my sausage. I did the best i could! Today was grand, and right now, I'm sipping on some Blackberry flavored water...a nice note to end the night on when you have no more calories. The brand is HINT. Try it.
Could have done better on water veggies and fruit. But dang!! I did so well on keeping my food intake in check and in moderation!! I'm so glad today was a better day. Tomorrow: sweat. Goodnight and yay the weekends over!

Day 39 - Amber
I think I landed around 2200 today. hardly any veggies, fruit and not much water. Bummer. This must have been splurge day! I ate in moderation, so this is a pro. But ate way too many calories for a day I didn't work out. I ate a 12" inch veggie sub today, and it pushed me over...the goals was fill up on subway so i wouldn't fill up on crappier foods later...but I still ate more than I bargained for. bad choice. Trying harder tomorrow. And not officially only buying 6" subs. :-) Learning more and more mistakes and all. Can't wait to gear up for Monday and work out!! Starting to get pumped about sweating woo!!! I knew the day would come if I was just consistent enough!! Hoping for moderation and a lower calorie total tomorrow! i can do it!

Day 38 - Amber
Calories: 1655 I still needed to get in 1 fruit and veggies! It's been hard to do this week since I didn't buy many fresh veggies at the store! Dang!
Had a swim today...probably about 25 minutes and a 5 minute warm up. I got sick a couple days ago...pools and runny noses don't seem to work too well together. AND I am still SOOO SOOO sore from that Body Pump class....I'm actually a little sad about being so sore and sick. Tomorrow I will rest...much to my dismay, but Caleb is helping me choose rest when I need it, we will be getting up early and going to Waco and being sick I need the sleep. Sunday will rest as well. Then back on my game Monday morning.
So technically I'm done this week with 2 cardio workouts in the pool, and 1 weights class. not what I hoped for, but I'm giving myself (again much to my dismay) the grace to recoop this week.

So I had a kolache for breakfast - yes there were two boxes of the fabulous sausage egg and cheese ones from Kolache Factory. So of course I had to have one - all 400 calories.
Then I have had chicken salad - homemade - 375, green bell pepper (24), celery (20), corn cakes (60) for a current total of 879 - I still have rice chex and laughing cow cheese and a tangelo - and there is still time - so I am sure that even if I do not eat anything else I will be partaking of some ice cold and refreshing milk later. YUM

Steve, not losing but seeing results anyhoo
Hello all. Been a while since I read any blogs or replied. Been busy researching house. Been eating right, rarely going out of bounds, but weighed in 3 different scales at different doc offices and it's official. i am not losing weight which is very frustrating but can see my feet, so belly is down quite a bit and my upper body strength is way up too. Maybe it's muscle more than fat scenario, or maybe my metabolism is keeping weight on since I am below cal. count for man my size? I dunno but can't eat any less, and most days could easily eat more. Working out every other day, and cycling every day I don't travel. It's getting easier. The cycle gauge says I burn 130 calories on 15 minute cycle, and my stretches and wieghts work up a sweat, so I know I am in much better shape than when we started this dang blog. i guess 228 or so is what I am going to weigh. I always wanted to be 235 before my fall, then 225 sounded good, but thought I could get 215, looks as if 215 not in the cards for me. Glad not to be gaining I guess, and glad to feel stronger. Day 37 - Amber
Landing at 1785. 4 Veggies, 1 fruit. Gosh, I'm stinking it up at meeting my fruits and veggies goals met!! Arg! Had a light swim with a friend and she helped me on my flip turn. plenty of water I think. Been an OK day. This is technically just a rest day after that weights class I took yesterday...could hardly move today HAHA!!

So today we tried snapper - it was kinda good but not really much flavor to me - but I ate it. Next time I will try a different fish.
So for breakfast we had the traditional granola bar (190), chex snack (125), soup (160), caramel corn corn cakes (60), grilled snapper (275), rice (300), veggies (40) rounding out the day at 1150 with no exercise - just sitting in chairs for 13 hours - my butt hurts:(
Now I am about to enjoy a diet dr pepper one of the very nice people at work just went to the back of the building to get me - I really appreciate it - I don't think I want any more water right now.
I did find out that I am supposed to drink about 82 ozs of water a day - which may seem like a lot but is really only 5 and a 1/4 of the 16 oz water bottles - you would be surprised at how fast they go.
Well until tomorrow...changing one long day at a time.

Veggies about 4-5. Fruit 2. Plenty of water. Total calories 2178. I was trying to track my protein for yesterday to see if I was eating enough especially for the weights class I took. It's hard to be intentional. The more I watch what goes into my mouth, the more I see why the bad stuff is bad...because it's substituting what my body needs to build muscle and lose fat. Calories wise. I want to eat anywhere from 1800-2200. The high end is for the days I workout hard core...like yesterday. I only burned around 305 (maybe more but I'm estimating on the low end), but it was a FULL body workout every inch is sore today. So, I have to eat enough to not let that class be a muscle burner, and make it a muscle builder.
May's Goals: 3 Swim Cardio work outs, 1 weekly Body Pump Class, and if at all possible, a home video day of toning. Next month my hope is to keep the class, and move to 2 classes a week, or an absolute 2 times a week weights. But for now, still pacing myself. :-)
I feel relieved and excited at how much I am doing already. I pray all the time that God will help me make this my lifestyle change. And that I won't overdo it and burn out. So calories have been good today - working from 8-9 - so I had to plan a little in advance.

Basically a lot of food and not a lot of calories.
From this point on if I do not post just start blowing up my phone and email.

Just finished a Body Pump class consisting of almost an hour of power lifting and weights. Fatigued doesn't even begin to express how weak I feel right now!! My whole body is trembling from the exertion.

Day 35B - AMber
I propose I had around 2200, but might have overdosed a little tonight. Homemade black bean hummus dip and whole grain chips, but I wasn't able to see how much I ate or how much the calories were. I would like to calculate it tomorrow. Maybe I shall revise my calories for today??
Day 35A - Amber
Starting the Day off decent. Unfortunately only got about 4.5 hours of sleep last night. BUT I went to swim first thing this morning. I prayed God would help me push myself hard and really work it.
5 minute warm-up. then I said You WILL swim 5 there and back laps non stop. And I did mostly, GOSH it was hard. Then I said to myself: you WILL Kickboard it3 there and back laps. And I did. AND boy were my legs screaming at the end. Then on the verge of throwing up, I told myslef I would swim until it got to 35 minutes, (probably like 8 minutes total) with the bouy working on my arm technique. The last m8inute I was ready to quit. I stopped, then I was like NO!! STOP WUSSING OUT, DO IT!! So I finished the last minute with some breastroke really concentrating on my arms.
Feeling good!! Now it's of to domestic engineering....ie: laundry, house cleaning, food prepping etc. Yes you can say it, I'm spoiled. Either way. Today was great. Looking forward to a ton of weights and/or toning tomorrow. Today I will venture 2000 calories with plenty of veggies and protein.

Back to 142.4 lbs. lol That's OK.I"ll measure myself June 7th and see how the inches are doing, since I'm trying to lose fat and gain muscle.

Need to get some groceries so I can have more veggies prolly had about 3 ot 4 servings today. 1 fruit. Plenty of water. It really helps to have a Nalgene bottle to carry with me.

Even if I undershot my lunch I am still well under 1300 calories.
The last two weeks of cutting down to 1300 calories has been brutal. My head has been pounding, I have been grumpy and angry, HUNGRY and my energy level was VERY low.
I am proud to announce that after making it through the first 2 weeks of eating less, shrinking my stomach and being a very angry person I have come out the other side happy, relaxed, energetic, and full!!! I am not hungry anymore :) Anyone wanting to lose weight just know that the headaches and pain of eating less is only temporary, it DOES get easier.

Day 31, 32, 33
It was like the weekend just got worse and worse and worse!
Day 31: about 2200. Got in a decent water aerobics workout.
Day 32 (saturday) 2310...it's all my stupid nibbling, Nibble on Caleb's fries, nibble on Paula's jack Daniels chicken, eat bit of chocolate laying around...
Day 33: Heaven help Amber Kay Knoll: Probably 3000...I chalk up a lot of those calories on the cheese and nuts in my salads, and just plain giving up at the end of the day after arriving home from Houston. I actually had 2 salads and a soup today. But still just got a little out of control. And didn't feel like I cared much today toward the end. I'll have to be more careful of being tired at the end of the day and not having calories...cause then I don't care and eat whatever I want anyway.
Anyhoo, that's OK. It was a small success for not eating every piece of junk I saw this weekend. And a failure at controlling my tendency to nibble....maybe I need to get a little insulated bag that can fit in my purse to carry around veggies? Tomorrow's a new day and I thought I saw some quad definition in the mirror....now I'm pumped to work out more. HAHA

Day 30 -Amber
***OK...C"mon Paula, and Lee, (but since you posted recently you get credit) Remember this subtitle "Time to stop making excuses and do the right thing."? Where's your posts and Lee where are the veggies/fruits and whole grains? Seriously....you can't subtitle your blog that and then not step up. Is this really your best? :-( Losing weight is great....but so is your health. I thought this was all about lifestyle changes? Here's your accountability....time to "do the right thing."
Day 30: Swam for 35 minutes or so plus a warm up. I did a some laps as fast as I could, and started to set minimum swim distances since I really am trying to get my endurance higher. (It's easy to focus on technique too much and not get the best workout) Calories are at:1939 - this is fine since it's a workout day (esp after what the personal trainer told me) (workout days I should be eating 1800-2100 depending on how much i burn of working out...my goals is to be usually in the 1800 and 1900's now) Plenty of water, 4-5 veggies, 2 fruits, and lots of protein and whole grains. Tomorrow morning one more swim and hopefully a Saturday walk or toning stuff with Aunt Lolly. RIGHT!??

Sorry haven't posted in a while. Been eating right. It's becoming more of a habit. No fat attacks, under 1300 the norm. biking and stretching. gone to stretching a few times a day wherever I have time and the inclination. Been busy searching the house in Galveston and doctor's appointments. Weighed in on a really old scale at TIRR yesterday and it said 230 which I know can't be right. I will weigh in on UTMB's scales tomorrow and we'll see. If anything I've lost a few more pounds, not gained. If I am gaining it's due to muscle weighs more than fat or something.

Got some weight lifting and toning done for my legs and core today. Also, ate my new goal of about 1800 or so (give or take depending on the day and the workout) Got plenty of protein I think, about 4 veggies, 2 fruits, plenty of water. Today was a good day - I really need to work on packing snacks though, I went hungry for a while during a meeting and realized I haven't been prepping. Otherwise, here's to a good day. :-)

Calories: 1500 maybe a bit less since i didn't eat all my Subway. Only 3 or 4 veggies. 1 fruit. Plenty of water.....yada yada. This bigger news is: I met with a Personal Trainer today. My body fat percentage is 30%. Not good. That's actually enough to be considered overfat, for my age and height, etc. He also told me I'm actually taking in too few calories if I want to be building muscle (and we're not talking body builder muscle. I'm talking just muscle to support my joints...toning). Because based on 1500 with working out I am going to be burning of my lean muscle, too. Not good.
So, now that I've a least been attempting 1500 for a while I'm gonna bump up to 1800. And maybe makeup the calories I burn on the day I workout....not sure yet. And now that I know my body fat percentage. I'm gonna change my stance (as long as everyone doesn't freak too much). If I don't lose 10 pounds, no big deal, but I want my body fat percentage back to 18% (where it was when I first entered college...I think it's possible to do in a year)
We talked mainly nutrition, and he said something, that, even with the way I eat affected me. He said building muscle and losing fat has a lot to do with what I'm putting into my body too. If I continue to stick with plenty of protein (beans, nuts, leans meets, and certain types of dairy) and eat whole grains, and my veggies and fruits I'll be on a better track than if I was eating refined white starches all the time, and not much protein etc. So I'm gonna go ahead and try to get a bit more on the regimen he recommends and see how it goes for a month or 2. Even if I were at weight 135 and not 139/142. I still would be maintaining my weight with about 1900-2100 calories a day. Day 27 - Lee
Breakfast - 260 calories of oatmeal with milk, I really didn't taste the difference so i'll make it with boiling water next time
Lunch - Shrimp Diablo, 540 calories guestimated. I ate very little of the linguini and the sauce is tomato based with 7 medium shrimp. I might be over guessing, but I think I've been underguessing lately and I'm going to try and either bed dead on or over. (800 Total Calories)
Dinner - Going to Pappadeaux's for the first day back to work celebration. I'll be having shrimp and gumbo

Weigh-In WeeK 4 - Amber
Not surprisingly, after no dinner last night and tons of water I'm at a 139.2. Feeling glad but wondering if that's gonna go up by next Monday. Eh...I"ll stay in the here and now. :-) I exercised 4 times last week and did a few weights, I'm glad about that. And I'll be getting a Gold's gym membership this week.

4/26/2010 measurements: Bust:37.25(or so) Waist:29 Hips:41.5 Thigh:23.75
Still waiting for my hips and thighs to get in gear with the rest of my body...luckily in the past I don't lose all the weight just in the chest, it usually comes from everywhere. But as is true for most women it seems, the chest is the 1st thing to go. Ha! Either way, this starts a new week to make good choices.

Week 5 Weigh In - Brooke
Today I weigh 178.8 .. woohoo! I lost 1.4lbs. I wish it was more, but I will take it. For me any weight loss is a success because even just 1 lb a week will only take me 30 weeks to lose what I want. That is less than a year and I can do that for sure! Throw in a few 2 lb weeks and it may only be 20 weeks!!

Day 26-Amber
Had a set back today...I misunderstood what was for lunch it was Pizza and turkey legs. (We were working at a community service carnival put on for Women's Job Corp...anyway...it was a through lunch thing). I prepperd myself with some almonds, grapes and a granola bar. Ate my almonds and didn't drink near as much water as I should have. By the time lunch rolled around I was starving. Here's what I had...and my proposed calories for each:
A couple bites of Pappa Murphy's sausage pizza(i thought enough to be 1.5 small slices: 350
Maybe 1/8 of a hotdog (I was nibbling on the 2 yr old's food while she ate in my lap): 59 calories
Couple of bites of dessert pizza - only the tops: 200?
Probably 1.5oz mixed cheeses:170
1tbs Ranch dressing on my salad:74
Pringles: 175
Less than half a grape juice juice box: 64
This plus my breakfast plus my almonds landed me at 1586 or so!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT!!!????
So guess what I did for dinner...fasted. I'm so angry at myself!! And tired. I just got home, it's midnight and I'm fighting the urge to eat a granola bar.
I did however, have 2 bites of cheese and 1 of pasta from lasagna, and 1 bite of chocolate cake with frosting and a lick of frosting. Not trying to be anal...but today has been a day of counting and recounting and trying to figure out how much I ate.
I really don't know if I overestimated for lunch, and how much my dinner bites were. I guess I'm just really angry about purposely not eating a whole darn hot dog at lunch, but throughout managing to still eat my whole days worth of calories by just nibbling.
WHY....yet again I find another way NOT to do things. PRE-PORTION. Do not nibble. Dangit.
I think tomorrow's weigh in will be low...but I'm still mad...maybe I'm mainly mad that I didn't eat dinner. :-( I really am such a baby. Good thing it's Sunday and the weekend is over. HA!

Day 35 -Amber
I ate some double dipped chocolate coconut almonds today....and accidentally was counting them as 10 calories a piece when they were more like 20. However I went back and recounted correctly and gave up my pudding tonight landing me at a supposed 1507. I think it's correct...but not sure.
Went walking in the park trails today, too. We were teaching Emmie to walk through the water. It was good low key exercise with lots of hills. Side note: Emmie crawled on top of a rock then was too scared to get in the water so she started howling bloody murder. One lady even came by to see who was torturing their dog so cruelly. Then Emmie screeched and tore off away from this lady's dog and tripped on her leash and rolled into the rocks and water. Poor dog. She's such a baby.
I'd like to do that more, it's was fun and active. :-) Anyway, one more day tp this weekend. Sunday's the hardest...doing a service project tomorrow with BBQ provided and potluck with my girls in the evening spaghetti...not sure how to keep those calories down...lots of water?

So to finish out yesterday I had 2 tangeloes and some eggs when I got home - for a total of 1125.
Today breakfast almost kicked my butt - it was delicious but high - a breakfast sandwich, which I could not finish for 688. Wow that was an awesome sandwich. So for lunch at the tea party - a wrap with chicken and a couple of bites of german chocolate cake for a total of 385. Currently sitting at 1013 - I think I might have some popcorn.
Changing one bag of 100 calorie popcorn at a time.

Dinner - Gringo's beef fajita with cheese and guac, guac and 4 chips, 4 chips and salsa, 1/2 tortilla - 500
TOTAL = 1370
I did want to shoot for below 1400 this week and then go with 1300 and less the rest of the time, so I guess that's good. I should have skipped those bites of dessert but at least I didn't eat an entire piece of either! And I pulled off most of the tortilla from my wrap. I could have over-counted the calories today, but better to over count than under count for sure!

No breakfast, got caught up as usual
Lunch - Tan Tan, the greatest place ever. Beef Scallions, walnut shrimp, and sqiud. Roughly 1100 calories just gathering since it as a bit of each with some rice.
Dinner- 750 calories of subway oven roasted chicken - (1850 Total Calories)
I did pretty well though the W on my keyboard is angering me right now.

Went in to Galveston to look at houses, after only eating 2 poached eggs and toast, 240. Missed lunch but met Robin for early dinner at Tortuga's which was pretty good. We haven't been there before, over on 60th and seawall. Split fajitas for one and forewent the queso, guac and such for the good stuff and a few chips with salsa and a few dips into her queso, but not my usual half the bowl full. I guess it was about 600 or less. 2x 100 cal snacks, assorted walnuts and chocolate,say 150, and 1 cup shredded wheat. Toatl 1390 but probably less. I tend to guess more than less when left to guess. Still not bad for a day out and about. Did my stretches but not the bike as I was driving a lot.
