Veggies about 4-5. Fruit 2. Plenty of water. Total calories 2178. I was trying to track my protein for yesterday to see if I was eating enough especially for the weights class I took. It's hard to be intentional. The more I watch what goes into my mouth, the more I see why the bad stuff is bad...because it's substituting what my body needs to build muscle and lose fat. Calories wise. I want to eat anywhere from 1800-2200. The high end is for the days I workout hard core...like yesterday. I only burned around 305 (maybe more but I'm estimating on the low end), but it was a FULL body workout every inch is sore today. So, I have to eat enough to not let that class be a muscle burner, and make it a muscle builder.
May's Goals: 3 Swim Cardio work outs, 1 weekly Body Pump Class, and if at all possible, a home video day of toning. Next month my hope is to keep the class, and move to 2 classes a week, or an absolute 2 times a week weights. But for now, still pacing myself. :-)
I feel relieved and excited at how much I am doing already. I pray all the time that God will help me make this my lifestyle change. And that I won't overdo it and burn out. And I really feel like he's been helping me be satisfied will the small goals, and keep working to bigger. I'm nowhere near endurance wise where I want to be, or muscle tone, but I feel hopeful and am excited to see where the end of the month is gonna land me!!
