My 3 workouts for the week are met. 2 swims and a walk. But I was really hoping to go to the pool one more time (today) to practice. I used my Christmas money to pay for it, so I'm trying to really practice and get my technique down.
However, I got ready and went to the pool but they said their chlorine was at a 0, so legally they couldn't let anyone swim. When I got back in my car I thought I was going to cry I was so let down. I think this is God's way of saying "just rest your knee some more" but my almost tears were evidence I didn't care what He thought. I was determined, and then....fail. I know it's not a real fail; I met my goals for the week..but I guess my hopes were up.
Oh, I suppose it really is good for me. I"ll have to do some clams at least today though, to keep working on the hip muscles. I should really be doing them at least 5 times a week.
Additionally, I decided to get rid of all the barriers in the house keeping the dog contained. I think stepping over them all day long isn't helping my knees rest. So, down they go. We'll see how this goes!
Not sure if I'll have internet access in Dallas. So maybe plan on Sunday night update for the weekend. Adios.
