That's a lie I do have a comment. I'm glad most of my goals are being met for fruits, veggies, water, and generally sleep. And eating more nuts and beans, too. Just gotta get my calories in check. I'm still a little surprised though, the scale has never dipped below 142 all week. On to week 3 to be even more disciplined. Like Steve, I do in general just feel better.
I have been tracking my calories for 3 years now, and just one day of eating bad in one week can make me gain 1 lb even if I eat great the rest of the week. This is why the "cheat day" never works for me. If I am perfect all week I will consistently lose weight, helps me to stick to my calories. This week is a new week, you can do it!
Thanks Brooke. It's weird, cause I thought that as long as your calories for the week were less than what it took to maintain it would be fine. Boo Hoo. I have a feeling it's going to be hard to lose these last several pounds, too. All in all, I really don't want my life to revolve around the weight number....but it's the only shorter term tangible thing. Gaining the muscle, toning up, losing inches....it seems like this would take longer to "see".
It was just so sad because I didn't just give up, I was actually trying HAHA! I'm a dork. The lowest weight I've ever been is 137 I think. Maybe I can get there one day at least.
Today in the pool I could tell my endurance has built up ever so slightly. I just want to get to the point to where exercising is my high for the day you know. I want to be hard core!...I have a long journey ahead of me I think. I guess we all do.
Robin did that p90x and for those three months, you could visibly see the muscle tone develop, and she began to more completely keep up with the program, in better form. big difference that the workouts make for sure. If you can, you should even though it's a major time commitment.
