Day 20 -Amber

Swim class today plus an xtra 20 minutes of swimming afterward. Every swim class makes me sore. I love it!

Ended calories today at about 1550. Plenty of water but possibly needed more veggies. Had a Subway tonight with plenty, and Okra this morning and bell pepper and mushrooms with scrambled eggs. But def not 5 servings. On to tomorrow. I am going to swim with a friend at Gold's Gym...she's used to be on a swim team, she's gonna help my technique.

We watched half of Super size me tonight...there were some ladies that said "who has time for that" in reference to exercise. I was kinda surprised there are people in the world that don't think it's important/don't value it. Glad I'm on track to healthier life, and I'd like to keep it this way.

  1. keep up the good work Amber. You don't have to eat at McD's to get poor supersized choices. They are all around us. Looks like you're searching for the right kinds of calories to consume. You're doing great.

  2. Finding time to exercise I can definitely relate to. Working full time, kids, etc....it's not easy. I know I need to fit it in somewhere, so I guess I should find the time. Only problem is it's either after 9pm or before 5am, and I am usually in bed at 9 and sleeping at 4. haha oh well

  3. thanks guys! I keep making big mistakes, but I'm really trying!! Ah!

    Brooke I saw this sight last week and watched a coupled videos, so on the trip to KA I did some of the squats and leg lifts I saw Bob Harper show one lady to do while she stood at the pump. It made me feel like they were small things that made a difference and were doable!!

  5. That's the thing, I do walk the stairs a lot more at work and do a few other things here and there when I can. I just wish I could get that sweat..or swim...lol
