OK, So I'm more on track. Yesterday and the day before, despite being on the road all day both days I tried to not eat so many little things that add up. And tried hard to stay at 1500, but decided if I at least stay below 2000 for those days I can live with myself.
Day 17 - I landed at a calculate 1897 but I had a few bites of vanilla wafers and chocolate chips.
Day 18 - Landed somewhere between 1415 and _____? We had dinner with my sister's dad and wife, and I calculated cornbread and butter into my calories, but had no idea for the 1C or so of the bean mixture...cause it had all types of bean and sausage...but also bacon drippings...UH maybe 350?
Today I'm officially in Austin and ready for some veggies and fruit and to get my calories back down.
Maybe next time I'm on a long unplanned road trip, I should just make some meal in containers...sorta hard when there's no fridge. I really don't wish I could say I could do another roadtrip better next time, now that I see more of my pitfalls, but I'd probably make the same dumb mistakes. Hmm.
